Did you do any stenciling in your home during the 90's? I did...seems like since I purchased the supplies I was going to get my money out of them. I stenciled my house...then I helped with friends...and then my Mom asked me to help her. So I was the stenciling queen. Well guess what? The art is back! (or maybe it never left)...
Look at this beauty:
This is a "long skinny" card. Take a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock and cut it in half...then cut those piece in half. You will get 4 pieces of 6x6 cardstock. These work great to coordinate with the LONG OPEN END ENVELOPES.
The stencil used on this project is called KIND THOUGHT BROCADE. All available stencils are in the DEFINITELY DECORATIVE little catalog. Lots of fun ideas to use for home decor...on walls, on pillows, on furniture...make your own frames...
To make this project: I used a sponge and pounced it in CHOCOLATE CHIP INK. Then pounce that on the white cardstock. Use the SCALLOP EDGE PUNCH to get that look at the top of the white piece. The little flowery stamp at the very top is from FRESH CUTS stamp set. That is stamped with CHOCOLATE CHIP INK on the CHOCOLATE CHIP CARDSTOCK. The words "FOR YOU" are also from the FRESH CUTS set. Embellishments: the ribbon is the 5/8" CHOCOLATE CHIP GROSGRAIN RIBBON and the hat pin is from the PRETTIES KIT.
