The software contains hundreds of STAMPS and PUNCHES...so it allows you to create each page and add elements and text as you want.
When you are done with a project you can either print individual sheets on your printer or upload it and send it to the professional print place at Stampin' Up!

A year ago I went on a fabulous cruise with my siblings and families. I put a digital book together with the MY DIGITAL STUDIO software. What great memories. Here are some of the pages I created.
This is a 12 x 12 book. You can do different sizes (like 8x8, 8 1/2 x 11). Other things with the software...you can create cards, postcards, swatch books, DVD's and more.
The software is designed so that you can choose templates that are pre-made or you can start from scratch and design it yourself. Plus you can take a pre-made page and make changes to it.

I have been trying to put some time into my own scrapbooking. It is a great feeling when I accomplish that. Here is a fun idea to share. I challenge you to copy it!
Start with BLACK cardstock and emboss something with BLACK EMBOSSING POWDER. It really is a neat look.
The ribbon I used is the 1/2" CROCHET TRIM. It is very thin and lays really nicely in my book.

I have posted more projects this Fall with the SPICE CAKE designer paper....because I love it so much! Just wait until tomorrow...it is my all time favorite card with this paper!
For this page I used a strip of designer paper and then have a notch on the end. Know how to make that super easy???? Use a square punch to punch out that notch!
The colors are SOFT SUEDE for the 12 x 12 page and then I stamped with SOFT SUEDE INK and the GENTLY FALLING stamps. I also used EARLY EXPRESSO and MORE MUSTARD.

I don't write about all the MDS (My Digital Studio) very often...and I should. There is a lot of people doing digital work and it is amazing what they do. I am somewhat of an advanced beginner at this....I have played with it enough to know what I am doing, but there are some really clever ideas happening.
Every TUESDAY Stampin' Up! tries to release new downloads. What I love about these is that you can have them in an instant. You order them online and then you download them to your computer. So when you are working on a project (whatever time of day it is......) you can have them right NOW! Isn't that how projects go???

Besides images there are lots of downloads to choose from....like ribbons, buttons, papers, etc. Check it out and have fun looking! Remember you can get these immediately.

Love this look..............it is quick to make and it looks great! I used the First Edition Designer Paper for a quick background layer. This package of paper can be used in so many ways. I tore the bottom right corner to make room for the RHINESTONES. The REAL RED flower is made with the FUN FLOWERS DIE. Not sure if you noticed...but I sponged REAL RED on the very edges on the flowers. I like the texture that it gives.

Every Tuesday Stampin' Up! adds more downloads to their DIGITAL DESIGNING site. CHECK IT OUT. There are so many options on how you can use these. On page 6-7 of the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog it shows all the options. You can buy the software now in 2 different packages (the fully loaded DVD and a partial DVD) or you can buy different "suites" based on a certain theme. You don't have to have the Stampin' Up! software to use these. Your computer is packed with options. If you already have a digital program it may work just fine with your set-up.
The fun is that there are so many great downloads available to add a little extra punch to your project. You can add embellishments (like brads, buttons, ribbons), there is a stamp category with thousands of images, there is a paper category and so much more. My favorite stuff to browse are all the kits that they have done for us. This is like going through the drive through and getting the Happy Meal....it has everything you need. You just add your photos or your typing...and your project is done!

This Simply Scrappin' Kit is available until the end of August. The color are fun and bright. They are PUMPKIN PIE, ROSE RED, DAFFODIL DELIGHT, and OLD OLIVE. All of the supplies in this kit are great for 12 x 12 projects...but everything can be cut down to be used for smaller projects too.

There is a great SCRAPBOOKING KIT in the SUMMER MINI CATALOG called Playful Polka Dots. You get 12 x 12 sheets of solid cardstock, designer paper, embellishments, and self-adhesive die cuts in the package. It makes for some super easy scrapbooking....or you can use them for almost any project! I have used these for making fast cards.
These are some cute ideas to use in a 6x6 scrapbook. I took these photos from someone's ideas on the Alaskan Cruise. Thanks to whomever that was!!

With the MDS software you can work all the features of an easy-to-use package. There are stamps to choose from...you just pick them and drop them on the page. You also have punches, embellishments (like ribbons, buttons, brads, and more...), designer papers to use, cardstock, etc. It really is amazing to watch how a blank page turns into a work of art!
