Valentine's is upon us...

I want to share more Valentine inspiration with you!  This card features CHERRY COBBLER and CRUMB CAKE for the colors.  It used the set called SPRINKLED EXPRESSIONS (a free set during sale-a-bration) and also OUTLINED OCCASIONS (another free set).

• There are a few punches used:
• 1 3/4" CIRCLE (fits great with the heart and for many, many stamps!)
• 2 3/8" SCALLOP CIRCLE - great to layer that circle (and more...)
• SMALL HEART - punches just one heart each time
• PINKING HEARTS BORDER (that one is used right above the word LOVE all the way across the card).  You can make this one go on and on and on...

Paper Doily is a new item

I have noticed lots of samples on the web with this PAPER DOILY sizzlit.  I thought it was time to play!  This is the card that my customers made at the latest Stamp-A-Stack class.

LUCKY LIMEADE, REGAL ROSE, WHISPER WHITE and SO SAFFRON are the colors.  The big flower is a  stamp from MIXED BUNCH (new set on page 17 of the OCCASIONS MINI) and it has a coordinating punch called BLOSSOM.  That always makes it nice and easy to punch out!!!

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and then punched it out with the WORD WINDOW PUNCH.  Layer that on the MODERN LABEL PUNCH.

Take a look at the flower...there are 2 flowers layered on top of one another.  I did snip the flowers in a few places to help them curl up a bit.  HINT to make the edges curl...use the BONE FOLDER and wipe that along the edge of the flower to curl it.  I then used a PEARL in the center of the flower.

The hint to get all of the cutouts cleaned out...roll the doily around a pencil and those little buggers go flying everywhere!  The LARGE SIZZLITS PAPER DOILY is featured on p. 7 of the OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG (along with some Edgelits and Embossing Folders).

Grunge Rock!

Who needs teenager card ideas?  I saw this one posted somewhere and thought it was super easy and super awesome!

MORE MUSTARD and PACIFIC POINT are the colors.  GRUNGE ROCK is the stamp set (p. 90 of the big book).  I used 5 different CIRCLE PUNCHES to give it lots of variety :)

I also used the TICKET CORNER PUNCH on the corners.  Can you see the glitter on the guitar?  That is the DAZZLING DETAILS GLITTER...it comes in a little squeeze bottle.

Greenhouse Garden is Delightful!

Here is one of my card projects from my latest Stamp-a-Stack class.

I used the GREENHOUSE GARDEN stamp set (set of 10 stamps).  This is on page 119 of the big book.  Love the two-step stamping that you can do with this.

I stamped some of the flowers on the cardstock...and then some on scraps and cut them out.  I put them on the card using the DIMENSIONALS.

This is the LACE RUBBON BORDER PUNCH I used to make that strip of CAJUN CRAZE.  I tucked it in behind the layer...what a fun look!

TANGERINE TANGO and CAJUN CRAZE are the colors I used for the flowers.  This card is a great layout that you can make using any sentiment you want.

Cupcakes Are Fun!

Who doesn't love a cupcake?

Here we have the CUPCAKE BUILDER PUNCH and the DECORATIVE LABEL PUNCH to really make this card POP!  Behind all of that is the EYELET BORDER PUNCH too...don't miss out on that one!

Poinsettia Beauty

Wow - what a beautiful poinsettia!  This is the 5-PETAL FLOWER PUNCH (p. 210) with a score line through each petal.  Clever huh?  Thanks to Julie for sharing this awesome idea!!

That sentiment is one of my favorites.  It is in the set called HEARD FROM THE HEART (p. 167).

The punches used on this card:  5-PETAL FLOWER, SCALLOP TRIM BORDER, DOTTED SCALLOP RIBBON BORDER.

The embossing folder is the PETALS-A-PLENTY.

Four Frames & Paisley Petals Designer Paper

Sorry about the glare on the photos...but I think you can still see the beautiful project!  Thanks to Stacy for sharing this one.

The stamp set is FOUR FRAMES (p. 141) and the designer paper is made to coordinate with it...that is called PAISLEY PETALS. 

Check out the big punch called LACE RIBBON BORDER (p. 211)...and check out how the 1/8" ribbon fits right through it!

Just Believe

This is the JUST BELIEVE set (p. 109) with TEMPTING TURQUOISE and OLD OLIVE.  The designer paper is from the big pad of "BRIGHTS."  They re-designed the big pads of designer paper as of July 2011.  It works really slick...so you get patterns of each color from the family.  The NEUTRALS pad has been a big seller.

Tip for stamping this project:  use markers on the big stamp (for the foliage and the flowers).  Lots of fun layers on this project.  Thanks to Stacy for bringing this project for all of us to make at our downline stamping day.  We have a fun time getting together and stamping.  I challenge you to get a group of friends together this winter and do a craft day!

Blossom Bouquet TRIPLE Punch

If you haven't seen this punch, you need to check it out.  It has 3 settings on it so you get a variety of punches from it.  It is called the TRIPLE LAYER BLOSSOM BOUQUET PUNCH.  (page 211 of the big book)

You get all the layers that you see on this flower from the one punch...how fun is that?

It is so easy to work with PLUS it is super easy to use the paper you already have.  Mix and match!

Pines & Poinsettias

This card is made with the PINES & POINSETTIAS stamp set from the HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG (p. 21).  It is available in clear and wood mount.  The colors are WILD WASABI, CHERRY COBBLER, CHOCOLATE CHIP, VERY VANILLA.  Thanks to Cathy Miller for designing this card!

The PETALS-A-PLENTY EMBOSSING FOLDER is used for the beautiful poinsettia looking texture.  The designer paper is from the package called HOLLY BERRY BOUQUET (p. 20 Holiday Mini) and the QUILTED SATIN RIBBON is also from the Holiday Mini catalog (p. 30).

The circle piece has 3 colors on that image...so that was done with the markers.  Color on your stamp with the markers...then HUFF on it before you stamp it.  Makes a beautiful piece!  Notice the PEARLS added to the POINSETTIA.  The SCALLOP EDGE BORDER PUNCH is used with the CHOCOLATE CHIP cardstock for that edge.
