Who Doesn't Love a Snow Globe?

How about a snow globe on a stick???

There is water in that globe...along with some DAZZLING DIAMOND GLITTER.

To make this project:

You need the SWEET TREAT CUPS, the 1 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH, WINDOW SHEETS, DAZZLING DIAMONDS GLITTER, and then some cardstock, stamps, etc of your choice.

Put the sweet treat cup on it's back so it can hold water.  Fill it up as much as you can and then I put about 1/4 tsp. of glitter in the water. 

Seal it with a window sheet.  I cut mine 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".  I also then used scotch tape to make sure that the seal was good.

I stamped the 2 little trees (from the HOLIDAY BLITZ set) using SOFT SUEDE color and the snowflakes in BASHFUL BLUE on a piece of WHISPER WHITE cardstock (cut 2 1/2" x 2 1/2")

Layer your "tree" piece behind the window sheet.

Take some Christmas paper.  I used a piece from the CHRISTMAS COCOA SPECIALTY pack.  Cut that 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".  Punch a circle in the middle using the 1 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH.  This piece will go on the front of the globe.  I love using MINI GLUE DOTS for that.

Then you need 2 pieces of REAL RED cardstock cut to 3" x 3".  Put one on the back of the project.  Then I added a candy stick and another piece of REAL RED. 

What a darling project!  I have tested mine quite a bit and no leaks!!!  YEAH!

Window Sheet Fun

These printed window sheets are in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I did a little playing with them and this is what I came up with.  You do need to attach them in a creative way.  If you use adhesive...it will show.  Just be sure to cover it with a piece of cardstock, embellishment, etc.  I found the quickest way to attach them is with the brads.  Have fun!

 

Love the saying....did that with RUB-ONS.

 

I you look closely at the photos...you may see my hands and camera in the reflection of the window sheet.  That was tricky :)

 

This polka dot sheet comes with all the white dots on it.  I stamped the flowers with the STAZ-ON ink.

 

Here I used flowers from the PRETTIES KIT and attached them with clear crystal brads.

The window sheets are in a pack of 2 sheets.  You get 2 of each of the 4 designs for $5.95.
