This is my personal blog. I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and responsible for its content. Stampin' Up! does not endorse the use of or contents of the classes, services, or non-Stampin' Up! products I may offer here.
This is a scrapbook layout that would be easy ti copy and make for whatever event you want. The big EYES for the BOO are super fun. Can you guess what the GHOSTS are made out of? It is the OWL PUNCH!!!
Now this card uses a fun combination of colors. If you want to make a great card for a birthday try using these colors together. OLD OLIVE, PUMPKIN PIE and RICH RAZZLEBERRY.
Last day of the Halloween ideas. Here is a really quick idea. I just ran a big stack of designer paper through the BIG SHOT with the OVAL ACCENT DIE. I am sure that I did at least 6 pieces at a time...and you could probably fit more through it! Then I stapled a piece of ribbon at the top at the same time stapling the 2 ends together. Place some candy inside and you have a sweet treat!
Well, I guess I also added a little fun frankenstein! He is from the GOOGLY GHOULS stamp set on page 27. Or you can get the stamp set and the bags/tags kit as a bundle price and save 15%!!
The designer paper: HOWLSTOOTH & SCARINGBONE on page 24 of the Holiday Catalog.
Here is the OVAL ACCENT DIE. It is on page 192 of the big book.
Before I share stamping ideas...here is something much more important...my nephew is home from Afghanistan. Here are some fabulous pics that make me tear up!!! Thank you Brad and Joeli for your service. They are both in the Air Force.
So glad that the Field family is back together! Love you guys!!
Look at these adorable faces!!
Can you guess what gas station/grocery store item this is? It is a package of orange Tic Tacs! Makes a fun package to wrap up in a quick hurry!
I used one of the tags from the GHOULISH GOOGLIES BUNDLE and a piece of HOWLSTOOTH & SCARINGBONE designer paper to put this project together. I stamped the bat and the "boo" and then added the googly eyes.
These tags are from the GHOULISH GOOGLIES DESIGNER KIT on page 27 of the Holiday Catalog. You can also use the tags with the bags that you get in the kit.
This first bag I ran through the BIG SHOT with the CHEVRON FOLDER.
This bag I ran through with the SPIDER WEB Folder.
Or you can just stamp on the bags with the STAZON INK!
Here is a fun happy little card for anyone for Halloween 2012. I used BASIC GREY, BLACK, TANGERINE TANGO as my basic colors. Can you see the SPIDER WEB that is embossed on the black? That is done with the SPIDER WEB EMBOSSING FOLDER.
The little tag is from a sweet little Halloween kit. You get little bags, the tags, baker's twine ribbon and googlie eyes! Then I added the little pieces of paper...and I mean you really only need a little bit of paper to do this. I call these paper banners and they are HOT right now in paper crafting! Add them to any project...your cards...your scrapbook pages...your 3D items. Sweet!
The Mummy stamp is from the set called Ghoulish Googlies and he really makes me smile (It may have something to do with the memory of my brother being a mummy in about 2nd grade and he didn't realize it...but his fabric kept unraveling and he was wearing his underwear!!)
Besides the mummy you get a witch, frankenstein, a bat, a spider and a BOO! (p. 27 of the Holiday Catalog)
You can buy the stamp set and the kit as a BUNDLE and save 15%.
Here is the fun designer paper called HOWLSTOOTH & SCARINGBONE (p. 24 in the Holiday Catalog)
Have a great day! Lori :)
Speaking of Halloween...I think we could dress up as a football family...as that is what we are living right now. Three games each week = a lot of fun!
Time to think about ideas for those special trick-or-treaters, co-workers, family that live far, far away...
This card is probaably the most elegant HALLOWEEN card that I have ever done...but I can see all kinds of possibilities with using this same idea with any season. There is a SNOWFLAKE embossing folder that would look fabulous!
I ran the VERY VANILLA through the big shot using the SPIDER WEB embossing folder and you get the front of the card! Add a couple of pieces of DESIGNER PAPER and the ribbon and there it is! Love the SEAM BINDING RIBBON to make bows that always seem to turn out!
The hint for the scraps of designer paper...I use the PAPER SNIPS to cut a little bit at an angle. You can also use the SQUARE PUNCH to take a notch out of your paper.
This designer paper is called HOWLSTOOTH & SCARINGBONE (page 24 in the Holiday Catalog).
Here is the SPIDER WEB Embossing Folder (p. 189) Have a great day! Lori :)
This is so stinkin' cute! I saw this idea on someone's blog...not sure who it was. I put the basics together so you can get the idea. It could use a little bit more bling or ribbon on it.
Can you guess how I made the ghost? It is the OWL PUNCH...just cut off the little feet! So I punched the owl using WHISPER WHITE cardstock. Then had to punch out the eyes. The designer paper is FRIGHTFUL NIGHT.
Have a great day! Lori :)
Don't forget about the awesome CLEARANCE RACK. Up to 60% off on items!!!
Now I think she must be a good witch...she look pretty friendly!
This is the stamp set called OUT ON A LIMB! Yikes...I didn't take a very good photo of this one, did I? Don't let that scare you away!
This card was made by Kathy Beck. The witch is stamped with STAZ ON BLACK INK and then colored in with markers. The bonus of having DUAL-TIPPED MARKERS is that you have the FINE TIP end and the BROAD end. These colors are from the FRIGHTFUL SIGHT DESIGNER PAPER.
The PUNCHES used are 1" CIRCLE, 1 1/4" CIRCLE, 1 3/8" SCALLOP CIRCLE.
The countdown is on. There are always lots of fun ideas for Halloween treats. Here is a treat for you:
This card features the stamp called HAUNTED FOREST. It is sold as a single stamp (we call that A la Carte). It is on page 43 of the HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG. It also features the DESIGNER PAPER called PICK YOUR POISON. That is on page 10. If you don't have your own copy of the HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG be sure to let me know.
The stamp is embossed with BLACK EMBOSSING POWDER and then colored in with markers. Take a lookat the MOON....that is a SPONGE DAUBER and rubbed on the DAFFODIL DELIGHT ink pad. This awesome card was made by Susie Wood.
The big circles are DIES used with the BIG SHOT. Did you know you can get a FREE BIG SHOT this month by signing up with Stampin' Up! How cool is that? And if you already own it...then you can pick out $100 worth of product instead.
