You know how it is always better to see the paper in real person and fall in love with it that much quicker?  That is how the COMFORT CAFE DESIGNER PAPER (p. 163) pack is for me.  These colors are so rich toghether.  Who thinks of putting them together?  I know I don't!  But i can take the paper and then do projects because the hard work is done!!

My Favorite Card of the Season PLUS Today ONLY Sale

I saw this idea on someone's blog and fell in love with the colors.  They are RIVER ROCK and BRAVO BURGANDY.  I truly love this card so much...it is the total package for me!

We did the card at Stamp Club this month.  Crumple up the FIRST EDITION DESIGNER PAPER and then try and flatten it out just a bit.  The stamp set is GENTLY FALLING (p. 86) and has lots of great leaves in it.  This is a two-step set where you have solid images and then line images to work together.

The sentiment is from the new set called TRUST GOD (p. 136).  Each saying in this set is just as fabulous as the next!  I used some ANTIQUE BRADS and the BRUSHED BRONZE BUTTONS for these samples.  Not sure if you can tell but I did splatter BRAVO BURGANDY INK from the MARKER all over the designer paper.  You do that with the COLOR SPRITZER TOOL (p. 179)

More Canning Ideas

This color combination is just plain yummy to me!  The work is all done for you as far as picking out colors.  I just used the colors that were in the package of ORCHARD HARVEST PAPER.  I have said it before...just use the inspiration that you see in the catalog and the work of picking out the colors is already done!

This is the PERFECTLY PRESERVED BUNDLE...the stamp set and the framelits.  If you buy both items at once you save 15%!  Love a deal!

Once again I point out the ends of the paper strips...cut the ends off at an angle and this is such a hot trend right now!  Think of all those scraps that you have in your inventory.  You could make up a bunch of base cards by just putting the back layers together.

I do love this jar stamp.  There are lots of ideas to fill it with.  I cut out all the pieces using the BIG SHOT and the FRAMELITS.  It really does a great job of getting your edges crisp!

The JUST FOR YOU stamp is from the ITTY BITTY BANNERS which also has a coordinating set of FRAMELITS to make your project easier!  Tie a little LINEN THREAD around the jar and you have a great looking project!

The THANKS are from the new TYPESET ALPHA BIGZ DIE (p. 192).  Each letter is 1 1/4" tall.  Love the way this works on the project.

Take a look at designer paper...it is from the NEUTRALS DESIGNER PACK.  You get a variety of patterns in all of the colors from that family.  The paper in this project is all from the same pack!  You have the stripes, the polka dots and the small text.  The color is SAHARA SAND.

There is a hint peeking out from the left side and that is a strip of cardstock cut with the DOTTED SCALLOP RIBBON BORDER PUNCH (p. 183).

Tie a piece of ribbon around the card and you have one great looking project!

Make A Cake

You can make a cake and eat it too!  This stamp set is called MAKE A CAKE (p. 44).  You can see below the stamps that come in the set.  There is a layering process to make the cake be this tall.  :)

The colors are some of the NEW in-colors:  MIDNIGHT MUSE, SUMMER STARFRUIT, PRIMROSE PETALS and the other color is BAJA BREEZE.

The sentiment is in the BITTY BANNERS products (p. 134 is the set and p. 191 the framelits).  I think these are going to be really popular!  You can get the FRAMELITS that cut out the shape and also the stamp set that makes it coordinate just so.

The PATIO PARTY Designer Paper package is very festive and makes you feel like you should be on vacation!

Once it is all put together then use the 2-WAY GLUE PEN and DAZZLING DIAMONDS GLITTER to make the whole cake sparkle!  On top of the cake are tiny little banners...these are colored in with the markers.

Inspired By Nature

Another project from our monthly STAMP CLUB.  Want to join for the next year?  Let me know!

This DESIGNER PAPER called FIRST EDITION is staying with us for another year.  That makes me happy!  I have used it quite a bit for a variety of projects.  That is a great stack of paper to have on hand.

The stamped the big stamp from INSPIRED BY NATURE using SAHARA SAND ink right on the paper.  That stamp set is retiring at the end of the month.  The BUTTERFLIES are made from the BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES EMBOSSLIT.  You get five different butterflies from that little guy...love it!  I attached them with GLUE DOTS right in the center.  That way you can have the wings lift up a bit.

Add the PEARLS to give it that extra special touch!  The colors are MARINA MIST and EARLY EXPRESSO.

Domestic Goddess

Did the title of today's post get you?  The name of this designer paper is DOMESTIC GODDESS.  It is on page 184 of the big book.  The colors are absolutely gorgeous:  DAFFODIL DELIGHT, BASIC GRAY, POOL PARTY and CALYPSO CORAL.  

Have you noticed how yellow and grey are now such popular colors????

The big flower is stamped from MIXED BUNCH stamp set (page 17 of the Occasions Mini) and then punched out with the BLOSSOM PUNCH (on page 17 also).  The center of the flower has a 3/4" PUNCH of the POOL PARTY and then a button on top of that with the WHITE BAKER'S TWINE strung through the button.

The "happy birthday" sentiment is from that good ol' set called TINY WISHES.  All of the sayings fit on the WORD WINDOW PUNCH.  It makes a great set paired up with that punch!

The rest of the paper pack has some really fun prints in it...including some things with some domestic goddess items such as a vacuum, clothesline, pots & pans, etc.  Check it out on page 184.

More SWEET SHOP

Here is another fun card sample using SWEET SHOP products.  I talked about the whole suite in yesterday's post.  

I like this layout using 3 square piece of the designer paper.  Just use your 1 3/8" SQUARE PUNCH to get the punched pieces for your project.  

The main colors here are CALYPSO CORAL and POOL PARTY.  The designer paper features cakes, cupcakes, pies....looks like all yummy stuff!

The thin ribbon was a FREE product during sale-a-bration...but now that is done.  The brads are the IN-COLOR pack of brads.

Sweet Shop is the Ticket!

The OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG features a product suite called SWEET SHOP.  The products are shown on pages 32-35.  I thought I would share some ideas over the next few days with these "sweet" products.  :)

The colors in the suite are the IN-COLORS...so you get CALYPSO CORAL, LUCKY LIMEADE, WISTERIA WONDER, POOL PARTY, ISLAND INDIGO, plus they use SOFT SUEDE and WHISPER WHITE to round out the color selections.

This card uses 3 thin strips of the DESIGNER PAPER at the left and then 3 BRADS in the right corner. What a great layout to copy!!!  Of course I can't help but mention the RUFFLED RIBBON that is available in all the IN-COLORS.  

The PRODUCT SUITE has stickers, stamps, paper, brads, twine and embossing powder that all coordinate.  Check out pages 32-35.

Beyond The Garden

This is one of our stamp club projects for March.  Just have to share how all of these samples are basically from the same paper....but they all have their own look!

The designer paper is called BEYOND THE GARDEN.  Love all those fun colors:  PACIFIC POINT, WILD WASABI, MELON MANBO, DAFFODIL DELIGHT, TANGERINE TANGO.  For the club night, I precut all the paper and then they could pick what base color for the card and what piece of designer paper to use.  Then all the flowers are from scraps.

I did use the STRIPED EMBOSSING FOLDER on the white layer for some of the samples.  The big flower punch is called BLOSSOM PUNCH.  It is featured in the MINI CATALOG.  The other flowers are from the BLOSSOM PARTY DIE and the BOHO BLOSSOMS PUNCH.

I used a variety of brads in different colors to mix and match it up.  The sayings are from the set called CURLY CUTE.  Under the saying I either used the SCALLOP EDGE BORDER PUNCH or the SCALLOP TRIM BORDER PUNCH.  I think it adds just the right of color.

I used dimensionals under some of the flowers to make it pop.

A fun blue and green combination:  WILD WASABI and PACIFIC POINT.
