Is Spring coming?  This card may help you think that way...

This is the BUILD A BLOSSOM stamp set on page 95.  It has the coordinating punch that makes the set really easy to use.

The colors here are CERTAINLY CELERY, DAFFODIL DELIGHT and PUMPKIN PIE.

Take a look at that background paper.  I have talked about this paper over and over...as it is probably my favorite paper.  FIRST EDITION SPECIALTY  is the name of that paper pack.

The Punches ROCK!

If you don't believe in the quality of our punches...then I need you to try them!  I have never heard a bad thing about our punches...they do rock!!

There are so many clever ways to use the Stampin' Up! punches.  I am so amazed at what people come up with.  No sense in reinventing the wheel...as there are so many ideas on the Internet.

The majority of our punches are on page 182 - 185 of the big book...but there are also a few in the mini catalogs.

Ornament on Cover of Holiday Catalog

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  I am thankful every day for waking up and living in America!

Yes I finally did it...made the ornament and so many of us have been gazing at.  Now I get to share it with you too!

I used the CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS DESIGNER PAPER (page 4 Holiday Catalog) to cut out all of my pieces.  Then I used the CRUMB CAKE TULLE (page 4).  I think this tulle is going to be great for wrapping presents!  Love the scallop edge on it.

The center of the ornament uses one of the VINTAGE FACETED DESIGNER BUTTONS (page 176 of the big catalog).

Fall Decoration Idea

Who wouldn't love this as part of a table decoration or by your desk?  Use the ROSETTE BIGZ DIE and the Big Shot to create these decorations. 

These boots are from the set BOOTIFUL OCCASION (p. 50).  What a fun card!

Birdhouse Fun with TREAT CUPS

It is amazing to see what stampers around the world come up with by using all the versatile tools that we carry.  When you think of the back of the Stampin' Up! catalog and all the hundreds of products that are buried in those pages.........it seems like there is usually a treasure to be found!

Here are the TREAT CUPS that are on page 182.  They are available in the round and the heart shape.  The round ones work perfectly with the 1 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH while the heart shape cups work perfectly with the FULL HEART PUNCH.  You get 12 cups for the great price of $2.95.  You can find all kinds of projects online with these gems.

Here is a super cute notepad holder.  You will notice that many other punches are used in the project including the SCALLOP EDGE BORDER, BIRD BUILDER, BOHO BLOSSOMS.  If you own any of our punches you will find MULTIPLE uses for them.

Card Boxes ROCK!

In the Fall Holiday Catalog they had these card boxes for sale.  They are a neat WHITE BOX that you can decorate (or not)....and are the perfect size for filling with handmade cards.  I did a bunch of these for Christmas gifts and they were a hit.  I sure hope they bring them back (hint to Stampin' Up!)

I covered the lids with the SPICE CAKE designer paper (which is also discontinued).  Lesson for all here:  if you love a product, buy it while you can!  I cut out different shapes of flowers with a variety of paper from the same pack.  

Giving cards as gifts is one of my favorite gifts.

Christmas Ornament or Packaging Idea

Here is a project we did at stamp club this month.  Many looked at it and thought "no way"...but they all loved it.  It looks much more difficult than it is.

Supplies I used:  Scallop Circle #2 Die, Silver or Red Glimmer Paper, First Edition Specialty Paper (use a strip that is 1 1/4" x 12" long), Perfect Punches stamp set (ON SALE RIGHT NOW!!!!), Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Mini Jingle Bells 9attach with glue dots), Quilted Cherry Cobbler Ribbon, Very Vanilla Velvet Ribbon.

To make the "lolly" I used the new SCORING TOOL from Stampin' Up!  I scored the 12" strip every 1/2 inch mark.  Then do the accordian fold and put some adhesive on it so you have a complete circle.  Then you need to kinda squish that circle flat on the table so it lays like it is showing.  I used a circle piece (just scrap of cardstock) and put glue on it.  Put that lolly on the glue and it will dry in place.

This one I did with scoring it every 1/4".  This one is a little bit flatter.

Fun Squash Card Idea

This idea has been around for years...but I forgot all about it.  It is called the squash fold.

 

The stamp set is FABULOUS FLORETS and the paper is BEYOND THE GARDEN.

Make your score marks in the middle both horizontal and diagonal.  Score 1 diagonal.
