With all of this LOVELY weather we have been having...I bet there are a few people out on the lake today!  Here is a card to match the beautiful day!

All of the layers make this card such a great piece.  The colors are CRUMB CAKE, EARLY EXPRESSO, PACIFIC POINT.  Notice how the background layer has the CHECKERBOARD look on it.  That is a great way to add a touch of texture.

The sentiment is one of my favorite layering ideas with punches.  It uses the WORD WINDOW, then the MODERN LABEL and then the SCALLOP OVAL.  Add a couple of brads to really make it pop!

Silver Medallion

BASIC BLACK, SILVER AND WHISPER WHITE are the colors here.  The big MEDALLION BACKGROUND stamp is used on the background.  It is stamped with the VERSAMARK INK PAD and then put SILVER EMBOSSING POWDER on it.  What a fun stamp, huh?

The big LACE BORDER PUNCH is used with the BLACK cardstock to run along the left side of the card.  But now the extras...the 1/8" black ribbon is running on top of that punch...plus the insides of the punch are used in the silver.  How awesome is that?  Thanks to Peg for designing this card!

Don't forget to mention the RHINESTONES added in all the right places.

The saying is stamped on WHITE and then layered on the SILVER and BLACK.  I love how all of our punches coordinate in so many ways!

Love this great BIRTHDAY package card!

Here is a fun quick card layout for you.  I used a 4" x 4" piece of designer paper at the very top.  Fold it over and it shows on both sides.  The card is 3 1/2" x 11".  Fold it in half and you have your base.  Put a piece of scrap down the middle and it looks like a ribbon.

Most of the products are FREE ITEMS during Sale-a-bration.  Hurry...it ends on March 31st.

The paper pack is called EVERYDAY ELEGANCE plus there is a coordinating ribbon and brad pack with the same name.  To make that ribbon I used a piece of cardboard about 2 inches wide and just wrapped the skinny ribbon around and around it.  Then slide it off and pinch it with your fingers and get the brad on it.

The saying is from the FREE SET called ELEMENTARY ELEGANCE.  It is available in CLEAR or WOOD.

The next sample uses the FRESH VINTAGE stamp set.  The technique used on this card is the "ROCK AND ROLL".  Stamp in a lighter color and then roll it on the edges of another ink pad.  For this sample you get the POOL PARTY color on the inside of the flower image and the LUCKY LIMEADE color on the outside edges.

Mixed Bunch Fun

Don't you love this?  Another great creation by Peg.  I am always so happy to get together with her and see her latest creations.

The stamp set and punch coordinate to make things easy for you.  They are featured in the OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG which ends on April 30th.  The stamp set is called MIXED BUNCH.  The punch is called BLOSSOM.  If you look back at previous posts you will see that I have featured it a few times.  I think this is about my favorite stamp and punch as of today!!!  (You know how that changes - ha!)

Colors are CONCORD GRAPE and LUCKY LIMEADE.  They are both part of the IN-COLORS grouping. 

Check out the leaves....the texture on them is from the EMBOSSING FOLDER.  What a great touch!  The center of the flower uses a VINTAGE BRAD.  Take notice of the sponging on the edges of the WHISPER WHITE cardstock using the CONCORD GRAPE color.

See how three of the flowers are stamping on the WHISPER WHITE base card and the one stamped on scraps and punched out.  Add a center piece from the BOHO BLOSSOMS PUNCH and you have another added touch.

Elements of Style = GOT STYLE!

Does this card just scream style or what?  This is definitely the style of Peg...she is the creator of it!  Thanks girl!!  She always uses a variety of punches and ribbon.

The big background stamp is HELLO DOILY on page 127.  What a clever name instead of Hello Dolly.  The swirly stamps are from ELEMENTS OF STYLE on page 134.  They are available in clear or wood.  This set is great for filling in spots.

The colors featured are CONCORD GRAPE and VERY VANILLA.  The lace ribbon is used on top of that piece running on the right side.  That ribbon coordinates beautifully with the big DOILY stamp!

Stampin' Up! Card Holder VIDEO Tutorial

Here is a video to see a card holder tutorial using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  Carrie Cudney is from the Home Office and does a great job explaining hints to make this cute project.  I can see Mother's Day gifts and more with this!

Heart shaped Fresh Vintage

Yesterday I posted a sample with this same set...now compare the two.  Isn't is amazing how differently they can look?

For this sample, the flower stamp was colored with markers and then stamped.  It really is a beautiful sample.  I received this from a swap that I participated in.  The main colors are POPPY PARADE and POOL PARTY.

The heart shape is cut out with the new HEARTS FRAMELITS DIE and the BIG SHOT.  That is available in the OCCASSIONS MINI CATALOG.  There are a variety of hearts that all fit together in this set.

I love the small bow and the long tails...sure makes a neat look.  The bow is made from SEAM BINDING.  That is now available in about 10 colors.  It is slick to work with. The sentiment is stamped andd then punched out with the WORD WINDOW PUNCH and then layered on the MODERN LABEL PUNCH.  These two punches work so well together!
