We had our monthly downline meeting this week. They are always a good time! But this month we had a little extra to celebrate....our Stacy is getting married next weekend. So we thought we would "HONOR" her with a little BRIDAL FUN! I invited everyone to try and make their projects using a bridal theme. I will post the projects in another post.
I set up my camera to take 7 shots in a row. Of course we laughed at me just trying to run and get into the picture. That is why I set it for 7....then you can throw out a couple of the beginning ones!
Here is the group. Our bride Stacy is in the brown t-shirt.
She is marrying Jason...so I quickly said "everyone make a J!"
We all got laughing....and I said something about how Jason proposed. Stacy had to shoot a bow/arrow at a target! So...here she is....
And then we all try it!

Who likes to garden? I take it on like a challenge to see if I can make something grow. Our soil is a little like clay....so we work black dirt into it and then see what happens.

The stamp set is HAPPY BLESSINGS. The colors are GARDEN GREEN and REALLY RUST. I do love this time of year.

So here is a portion of my garden...where the pumpkins have gone wild. What do you think?
That is my son Joe. This picture was taken August 27th...look at the size of that pumpkin! I have never had a pumpkin be that big in October...let along August!
The white bucket is a 5-gallon size. That is a big pumpkin! So far we have been able to spot about 25 pumpkins in our garden. Last year we got 4! I guess the rain we got was perfect conditions for clay!

I have done a variety of scrapbooking over the years. My style changes from time to time...but one thing I know...is that when I want to get a lot of pages done.....then I work on basic layouts and don't even worry about the photos. Photos can be put on at a later date!

For a while in the past I was really making a lot of differene name frames. Take some DESIGNER PAPER and some letter stamps....or now the BIG SHOT letters....and see what you can create. Then add some embellishments like ribbon, brads...whatever will fit in the frame!

Colors: DUSTY DURANGO, CLOSE TO COCOA, WHISPER WHITE
Punches: ROUND TAB PUNCH - that is the one that makes the vase. There are so many ways to use this punch. HEART TO HEART PUNCH - it punches 3 different sizes of hearts....so that is the big heart by the saying and also the tiny heart on the vase.
The saying is from the stamp set SINCERE SALUTATIONS. That set has been around for a while and is a great classic set to have for a great variety of sayings.
Ribbon: Dusty Durango polka-dot ribbon. This ribbon is plain on one side and polka dots on the other. Fun combination!
